Subjects for Upcoming Blogs

The world of horses is so vast that it’s hard to know where to start? Should we talk about horses, horse care, horse training, riding, jumping, breeding? The list goes on and on. So to start things off I am going to start with topics that I know something about. Again, this is just a start and if you have a favorite horsie topic please write in and let us know. But for now, here is where I am going to start:

I’d like to talk Rock Bridge Hunt in Virgina, my current hunt

I think a great topic is the AERC — The American Regulatory and Records Board for Endurance Riding. Are you interested in long-distance rides?  They are some of my favorites… 50 to 100 miles of beautiful endurance!

On this note I would like to talk about a popular Virginia endurance ride: Old Dominion Riders.

Are you interested in Fox Hunting? In addition to my experiences at the Rock Bridge Hunt, I would also like to get deeper into this subject with the help of MFHA.com (Masters Foxhounds in America. These guys are the regulatory body and source of information for Foxhunting in the US.

I also have had very nice experiences at the woodfordhouds.org, a hunt I belong to in KY.

This is where we will be starting, but we will be covering these and other horsie topics of interest to readers both in this part of the country and elsewhere.
